Farewell to valued colleagues.

E-mail Print

Farewell to valued colleagues. Today we said farewell to temporary staff and some long-serving teachers.

Thank you to each and every one of you for your valued contribution to our school community whether it be for one year or the thirty-two Miss Braniff clocked up.

The History/Politics and Sixth Form teams have sent Miss Braniff off into a retirement we know will involve lots of travel - often of the ‘turn left’ as you board the aeroplane kind. Also leaving, having worked for 12 years as our School Nurse and Counsellor, is Nurse Tinman. Kerry has been an invaluable driving force behind our school’s physical and mental health initiatives. Her legacy will live on in the school, not least through the life-changing connections she has made among pupils and staff.

Two members of the Geography Department have had to re-route their careers to cut commutes and we are so sorry to lose them. Mrs McCullough is moving to Strathearn following 21 years of fun, friendship, field studies and DoE Gold expeditions. Meanwhile Mrs Chambers, who joined us in 2018, moves her efficiency, enthusiasm and explosive volcano modelling to Grosvenor. Our loss is their two new schools’ gain.
